I only got to visit Tricárico, Basilicata once and that was at night. We were finishing up a long day of service runs and hunting for new stations and decided to get "one more station".
The station was placed at a house a few kilometers from Tricárico that was owned by Michele Santangelo who is between Alberto and Chad. Mr. Santangelo wrote an article about the CAT/SCAN project for the local paper. He was described by those who installed the station as quite the Renaissance Man.
