Every time I blinked on this trip the scenery changed. These are just a few pictures from various places along the route that we took.
Along the shores of Qinghai Lake, China's largest lake, were huge fields of rapeseed. Every couple of hundred meters along side the road were the homes of the beekeepers. They lived in tents and sold their honey and pollen to survive.
Above is a picture of the eastern end of Qinghai Lake, which by the way was slightly salty. I tasted it too.
